Accelerating the realization of high-level technological self-reliance and self-improvement is the only way to promote high-quality development. At the 4th Engineering Biology Innovation Conference - Guangming Science City 2023, the 2nd China Synthetic Biology Academic Annual Conference, and the 1st Asia Synthetic Biology Innovation Conference held from April 27th to 28th, the Synthetic Biology Industry Innovation Alliance was officially established. At the same time, the Capital Sub Alliance of the Synthetic Biology Industry Innovation Alliance was established, and the "SynStar 300" program was launched. The establishment of the Synthetic Biology Industry Innovation Alliance aims to further accelerate the construction of the biomanufacturing industry cluster and create a full process innovation ecological chain of "basic research+technological breakthroughs+industrialization of achievements+technology finance+talent support" in the bioeconomy.
