Silkworm pupae are used as a bioreactor to prepare and produce SOD and NAMPT silkworm pupa protein achieving high dual-enzyme activity. The NAMPT enzyme activity ranges from 18 U/g to 25 U/g (the healthy human body contains 800 U to 1000 U). NAMPT produced via silkworm bioreactors can be absorbed orally and exhibits biological activities of anti-oxidation and anti-aging.
